This page explains the categories and choices available on the "Build a Plan" page in order to assist in customizing your reading plan.
Next, choose whether or not you want to include scriptures. WBP offers ebooks that serve as an guide if you want to use your own Bible but still want a reading plan.
Select a duration. For the more aggressive, read the entire Bible in as little as 3 months or for the most leisurely, read the entire Bible in as long as 3 years. Or, instead of a set duration, read from 1 to 6 chapters per day.
30 Days
Use this with the 30 Day 1 Book theme and intensively study a single book for a month.
3 month
For the most aggressive readers, read the Bible cover to cover by investing 45-60 minutes a day. In 90 days you'll see the big picture of God's great story unfold before you.
6 Month
In just 30-45 minutes per day, you could read the entire Bible, cover to cover, over the course of 6 months. Choose a Historical Reading Plan and read the Bible in the order the books were written. Whatever your pace, the point is to make daily Bible reading a habit.
9 Month
The Bible is a rich treasure and gift to us from God. A daily reading program that weaves together both testaments in an enlightening and enriching experience of our history as God's people.
12 month
The one year plan! Commit 10-15 minutes each day and read the entire Bible in 1 year. Mix it up by choosing from several themes. Read every day, 5 days or 6 days per week. Whatever your interest or time availability, we've got you covered.
18 month
Choose a "Straight" Reading Plan and Read from Genesis to Revelation (and the Apocrypha if available) in 18 months.
24 month
Take your time to read the entire Bible, cover to cover, in 2 years. Choose a Chronological Reading Plan and read the Bible in the order the events occurred.
36 month
Our most leisurely plan. Spend 3-5 minutes per day and read the entire Bible, including the Apocrypha (if available in your version), in 3 years. Choose a "Sectional" plan and read daily from the Old and New Testaments, Psalms, and Proverbs"

In the late 1990’s, David’s material first appeared on the Blue Letter Bible, and was found to be a valuable resource."
